Thumbs up Special Thanks to GBMotorsports and MPJ Performance

Special thanks to Mike for the parts and to GB Motorsports for the labor! Had a problem with the Whiteline Sway Bar ripping the OEM swaybar brackets right out of the chasis of my car.

Dragged that sorry excuse for a car from SF to Hayward banging all the way. Drop the car off and three hours later, I have a set of Perrin brackets, Perrin swaybar and Perrin endlinks. Sweet.

Before I left, I wanted to make sure Gino gave my car a test drive. Drove it onto the freeway and took it the length of one eixt for 3/4 mile. We were up to 125mph. WOW! Clean bill of health. The car drove well, handled well and everthing was good. Then the EGT probe fell out.... another story.

Thanks again to all the guys at MPJ Performance and GB Motorsports. An easy recommendation to anyone in the Bay Area.

Curious, was the problem due to the Whiteline Swaybar or something else?

well

stan had the midsize fat bar (not the competition one) and set it at the last and hole (24mm)..... The towers holding the bar broke/gave in.

perrin offers towers included in the rear sway package.

cheers

I need to add my own thanks to Andrew & Gino for fixing my leaky exhaust last week. They did a great job of tracking down the leak and fixing it the right way. They kept me informed the whole time and stuck to thier original estimate even though it took a little longer than they originally thought. Truly professional.

I have to throw my 2 ¢ in on this one too!

My newest Mods done the day before I went to Maui, Sat. 8/23:

Whiteline front/rear sways and perrin endlinks.....Thanks to Gino and Andrew for hookin' that up, the price was right, and the the work was unparalleled, and (I got there just before the weekend rush) so the install was quick and painless. Oh yea, also, Thanks to Andrew for taking out my intake silencer too!

You guys kick a$$! Next purchase lined up.... f/r strut tower braces. (gotta save up a couple weeks tho, vacations are expensive!)

Hmmm, slightly confused. I had been considering getting the Whiteline Rear Sway bar. Are you saying I would need to get new brackets to go along with the purchase?

Thanks.

yup, can't compain about those guys over there except for the occasional fake british accent.

killer prices on parts, andrew is the dopest tech evar, and they truly have a "customer first" attitude there which could be the last business on the planet (other than where i work) that actually has that attitude.

keep up the good work gino, moike, and bAng.

you have to get new endlinks (rear only)...the stock ones are just made of hard plastic, and a phatter sway bar will snap those like dry spagetti noodles .

Quite honestly the Whitelines are fine. I have a tendency to throttle my car and drive her... well... a little hard. Certainly not to the same level as the autocross boys. But none the less...

Whenever, you improve on one thing. Making something more rigid or tightening something else down, etc. It directly/indirectly affects other parts of the car. In my case, the Whitelines were great. But in hindsight, I should have upgraded the OEM brackets and endlinks at the same time. The OEM parts were not built to support all of that torque.

When I got down to Gino's they didn't have the brackets for the Whitelines in stock. Because my situation require that I have a car, I needed to have the whole setup swapped out.

Lesson: whenever you upgrade hardware, be sure to consider the possible affects it has on other parts of the car.

BTW, huck, you have PM.
