Soooo Long WRX Wagon

I finally closed one of the worst chapters ever written. Two days ago I sold the curse back to the dealership. It stayed true to it's cursed nature right up til the end. 1/2 mile away from the dealership the check engnine light came on. I pulled over, reset the ECU and brought it in. I prayed it wouldn't come back in during the inspection; it didn't. On top of that somewhere I picked up a nail in the tire. So it's over, the curse is no more and I'm free.

DO NOT BUY A DERAILED '05 BLK WAGON

good for you jeff. there was something all wrong with that car. i think that when it got built some gipsy got hurt and cast a spell on it.

I'd say sit on your hands for a while buddy. Focus on the house. Save some funds. See what comes out next year. Pick up something you don't have to do much too. Either that or enjoy your daily driver and buy yourself a project car that you can do ground up.

I agree. You had one hell of a ride there for a while. Good luck on the next one.

It started out as a lemon pretty much. Blew a motor at like 27k over nothing but a TBE. No dealership support. Since then I think it's had 7 motors in it. Just search IPOZESTU motor. You'll find your story.

I don't know what the new car is going to be. FWIW, on Tues I was this close ][ to buying a 1982 911 Targa. Decided not too. Later that day when I went to the dealership, they still had the '08 Forester that I ordered. It was beautiful. I mean BEAUTIFUL. I really want this car bad. After seeing it. OMFG it's nice. For the time being, I'm going to be putting around in the beater ('90 Legacy wagon)

Yes it was completely stock. The only thing left was the rear Kartboy bushing, STi shifter trim, STi side skirts and trailer hitch. I'm soooo glad it's gone.

They gave me a fair price. Nothing to speak of. Even if they only gave $100, I still would have gotten a good deal.
