Sonoma backroads?

Im going to be up in Sonoma July 31st through August 2nd for a wedding and plan on using Friday morning as time to explore some of the wonderful backtoads up there. I went down Silvarado Trail (I think that's what it's called) over Christmas but I want to know what else is up there. I'll be on RE92s because August 3rd is a Rally-x and I don't want to carry around extra tires all weekend. Since I'll be on all seasons, feel free to mention some dirt roads too PLEASE PM ME THE INFO RATHER THAN POSTING IT HERE AS PER KYLE'S REASONING IN POST #3

I'm not sure exactly where we'll be staying, but the wedding is at Cline Cellars, so I assume we'll be in that general area.

Unfortunately I won't have time for a day long drive or a night time meet, just a few hours of exploring.

TIA!

Google earth is your friend....

Thats how I find all the cool roads. I search the area I'll be at then scan the roads close by. Its never done me wrong.....

I'd give it a shot

google has given me bad information on back roads as to which roads connect together. Google also doesn't tell you what roads have awesome views and less traffic, which is why I'm looking for input from locals. Thanks for the advice though.

North of the Cline Cellars Is Fremont drive.
Make a right on fremont drive. Then another right on millerick rd. That heads south back past the cellar.

Looks to be a promising road.

It was on google earth. That Cellar is very close to sears point raceway

I checked out google earth (I forgot I had tried it long ago) but I don't like that I can't create a route very easily. On google maps I just right clicked and selected "add destination" and measured the length of the road Jeremy told me about. Is there an easy way to do that on google earth? I also wish I could download the path from google maps to google earth

Follow Bodega Highway East.

Take a Right on Bohemian Highway into Occidental

Take a Left on Coleman Valley Road.

Enjoy driving bliss until you hit Highway 1

Turn Left/South on Highway 1

Follow until you make a Left on the Bodega Highway West.

Head back to Sonoma.

Coleman Valley Road can be epic.
