Its the real test of a vendor when things go wrong.

Everybody is a nice guy when stuff fits and functions on the first shot... Its when things screw up that the good shops earn their reputations.

Literally, every day I get a phone call from a person that's at their wits end; they're tired of being lied to about their car ..
You speak the truth!!!!!!!
I have been down that road a few times...

My Cosworth motor was making some not so normal sounds on start up and idle. The shop I had it at pulled the motor and shipped it back to Cosworth. Cosworth then shipped a new motor out and they reinstalled it. Without charging me extra. Even my FullRace twinscroll had a bad flange. They sorted that all out without extra charge. I wish my motor build was 20k...

These shops that go this extra bit are very rare. Glad to hear Norcal has one now days. It great to know if I need something in the future.

So you guys doing any open houses or BBQ's

Paul SUCKS!

I remember the first time I was taking my car to Thunderhill after Paul and Adam had done some work and tuning. I had picked up some slightly used race tires ($50 for all 4) to mount on my wheels for the weekend, and Paul pulled this jerk move. He actually mounted a set of his own wheels with NT01's on my car. I ran the **** out of them sat. and sun. When I got back, Paul put my wheels back on. ALL FOR FREE. WHAT A DOUCHE!

Fixing cars and making them perform better than stock ain't rocket science.

I can't fathom how a car owner can accept being without their car for months or yrs while the shop just strokes them along.
And it amazes me when a customer is told to "**** off" after spending thousands of $$$.

No kidding! I think most of the local shops have heard their fair share of horror stories about the other shops out there.

way to come through for your customer! This may be an ad for yourself, but like someone said already, it's a great one at that. Good job to you and your shop employees! I couldn't imagine not being able to drive my car for months
