Every time I see this in the forums listing (if it's the most recent replied-to thread) it just says "Sometimes I want to bang my" and then my imagination goes nuts :\

Working at a corporation makes me wonder what I live for anymore. It also makes me wonder how mgmt live with themselves and look at themselves in the mirror. I've come to the conclusion that most of these people are "successful" not because they're smart or are stellar performers, but are good at talking the talk and walking the walk. It's much easier to shmooze and brown-nose than it is to learn and know things in order to improve productivity and innovation. And because of this, corporations are resistant to change because its just much easier to remain at status quo than it is to put energy and effort into changing/improving things. You eventually have a situation where all the progressive people leave because they actually care about the people and the product, while all the people who are willing to like this environment stick around to move up, but job performance becomes more about how many friends they can make and less about their talent and knowledge. To some this is an easy road, to others it is simply asinine and soul less.

Whenever I feel like that, I go skating or snowboarding (if I could).
Listening to good music also helps.
+1 taking a drive in the subie
