lol.

yeah I didn't say anything about these folks... just nastycar. *shrug* really though if I were to actually say something about this... well here it goes:

If I had a wife and kid (got the wife part already and maybe the kid part in a year or two) I wouldn't have a profession where accidents with a high fatality potential happen every in just about every instance of my job. Do I feel bad for them? Sure. Do I think "Wow what a tragedy, how unexpected, how terrible this has happened to them"? No.

Only a man who is selfish and puts his personal dreams and aspirations first, before his family, puts himself in such jeopardy without necessary reason. At least folks like police officers fullfil a deeply needed purpose in society. But car racing with the speed and accident rate of NASCAR? My wife and future kids deserve a husband and father who puts them first. If I feel bad for anything, its that these kids had parents foolish enough to let their father continue to jeopardize their future.

So that's how I feel about it. And NASCAR sucks, regardless.

Dude, they died in a plane crash, not racing. Did you even care to read the story before you ran your dumbass ignorant mouth? Didn't think so.

Wow, The "I" in I-club can sure stand for Insensitivity some times.

So many people here bag on Nascar. I never really thought much of Nacar till I started driving on the track regularly. What they do is brutally physically demanding on the body and mind. I have a world more of respect now that I went this year at Sears Point/Infineon Raceway. Sears is one of two road coarse's they run all season. For all the other tracks they run, those are some wicked Left hand turns they make. Not like anything you or I will ever likely experience.

This thread was started in memory of those who were lost in a tragic PLANE accident and there families. They were part of the motorsport world, like it or not. Have a little respect and post a "RIP" or click that back button and check out another thread.

Wow, whoops, my bad. Terrible, what happened.

That's one of my best flubs yet. I was watching the news this morning and I saw the story about this "NASCAR" tradgedy being a flying accident, not a NASCAR accident. I didn't watch the link cuz I didn't car to see Yet Another NASCRAP Crash. Of course, that just proves my earlier point.

Sad this thread turned into a "NASCAR is not cool" debate instead of what it should have been...

Sad time for the Hendrick Family To me it seems almost wierd, how for such a successful guy, where success depends on at least a fair amount of good luck, that Rick Hendrick could have such 'bad luck'. This is a mighty dark cloud...

Bunch of NASCAR haters on i-club. I'll remember that and won't post anything related to it ever again. Why do I bother anyways...
i had just finished watching the martinsville race when they said they lost the hendrick plane on radar, but they did not have any determinable proof of what happened. in the pit of my stomach, i knew that phrase meant the plane went down. my condolences go out to the hendrick family, and all of NASCAR for their tragic loss.
