Solano BAM 2016 Caravan

Planned out the Solano caravan last year, saw some commotion from local folks about a caravan this year, and I really enjoy this event so I don't mind planning the caravan for it again. Last year we left a little early since a few of us were in the car show and others were volunteering. This year I hope that we can merge with the Sacramento Caravan as they pass through Fairfield.

BAM 2016 Thread: https://www.i-club.com/forums/bay-ar...t-18-a-268217/

Proposed Plan:
Meet at 8:45am at Starbucks by Costco in Fairfield (Located right at the 680/80 interchange).
Depart Starbucks between 9:15-9:30am for Quarry Lakes depending on when the Sacramento group rolls through Fairfield. The Sacramento group is planning to depart Fry's Electronics in West Sacramento at 8:30am. I will be in contact with the Sacramento coordinator.

Address for Starbucks:
5121 Business Center Drive
Fairfield, CA 94534
(Note: Starbucks is located next to Bank of America on the far side of the Costco parking lot.)

Address for Quarry Lakes:
2100 Isherwood Way
Fremont, CA 94536

Proposed Route:
1. Take I-680 S
2. Exit onto CA-84 E and keep right towards Dumbarton Bridge
3. Turn Right on Niles Blvd.
4. Continue on Alvarado-Niles Rd.
5. Turn Left on Osprey Dr.
6. Turn Left on Quarry Lakes Dr. and arrive at destination

Please bring CASH for any of the following:
-$5 for parking (+$2 if you bring your dog)
-$20 if you do not buy a prepaid ticket
-$5 for the Benicia-Martinez Bridge toll booth (for the trip back to Solano if you don’t have FasTrak)
-$$ to purchase raffle tickets
-$$ you would like to donate to the charity

RULES:
There is a ZERO tolerance for bad driving. We do not need any extra negative attention to our cars driving 1 hour away. We will be in a large group and will already stand out.
-No revving your motors
-No crazy/irresponsible/asshat driving

Please come with a FULL TANK OF GAS! We are not going to make any stops on the way.
Also check your fluids, belts, tires ect. Again, no driving crazy.

If I wasn't part of the early bird volunteer crew, I'd be down to join in on the link up with the Sacto caravan.

Have fun, y'all. And keep it safe as always.

you should just combine your group with the one set up here. since the route is 80-680 into fremont, this meetup spot makes the most sense as it offers very little backtracking for most of Solano County peeps.

Though I'm not able to join y'all fun caravan cruisin', just sayin...

I didn't take roll this year but last year I think we had maybe 15 cars meet up at the Starbucks. Either way, you can feel free to jump in with the Sac group in Vacaville or drive down to Fairfield and jump in with us.

Exactly! I think this is the most ideal meet up spot not just for Solano County but for neighboring towns like Vallejo and Napa as well. Everybody will end up having to take 680 down to Fremont

I've seen a few different groups meeting up in Napa, but they're all going to Vallejo.
