So You Think You Can Volunteer
The company I work at makes an automotive product, which I let them demo on my car last year. Now they want me to find a similar vehicle to test as a control.
Without name dropping the company/product and getting in rubba-dubb-trouble for advertising, I wanted to offer the gig to a fellow i-clubber before they go posting on like Craigslist.
They need a 2009+ WRX or STi hatchback that's gone easy on the power mods. We're talking stage 1 or less, no downpipes, or 3" exhaust kits.
You'll get a $25 Visa Gift Card in exchange for driving your car around while a nerdy dude records ambient noise, someone else navigates, and a supervisor adds dead weight.
Time - Business hours, in the next week or so, up to an hour total time.
Location - Sunnyvale

i might be interested but do you mean by no "3" exhaust kits"... that i would be ineligible because i have a 3" catback on my car (no downpipe)? also, any reimbursement for the gas used?
i'm actually in sunnyvale too so that would be convenient.

Hey man,
as far as the exhaust setup, trying to keep it as close to stock as possible. my wrx has the stock sti turbo back except for a resonator delete.
compensation wise, its the gift card. There won't be more than 15 miles of testing done which comes out to only a couple buck$ worth of gas.

but anyways, idk if i'll be able to due it due to my exhaust noise (i have an n1 lol)
I've got an 09 wrx hatch. Only engine mod is a maddad whisper quiet axel back. Let me know if you still need a test car. I work in sunnyvale so it would work out but I start work at 3pm so as long as its right before then, I can make it work.
