is the full game downloadable or do u need to buy it from a store first?

you can either buy the game in store or download the full version through steam.

i believe that the demo expired already so its not playable anymore, only the full version. if any of your friends has a steam account with l4d, maybe they can give you their account so you can play on or something.

my buddy is married, and his wife is addicted to it as much as he is. they have FOUR different PCs running it, and they play together.

I bought it and started playing it last night... didn't get a chance to do co-op though, only single player. The game is fantastic.

 

I play it on PC, steam ftw. I beat the first 2 campaigns, and did some of the 3rd, but then ended up wanting to kill real people, not bots, so I went to do versus. Man is it ever fun playing as a Smoker and grabbing a survivor from a rooftop and pulling them up into the air, or getting to be a Tank and just rape everyone.

 

I have yet to try the versus mode. Although i am definatley looking forward to playing as an infected. Are there any other zombie games that let you play as an infected?

really fun game. got to be play the tank in versus mode. fyi FF is on even as a zombie. i killed 2 of my friends playing zombies when i was a tank
