dr3d1zzl3: thanks....i first had a wrx....i sold it to build this conversion....the best i've gotten in the 1/4 mile was 12.7 with a crappy 1.98 60 ft....i'm pretty sure it could break 12.5 no problem at Infineon..probably low 12's at Sacramento!!
P.S. be prepared to break trannies (rs trannies)!!!

 

was thining of doing a dogbox if i go that route.. sorta getting a rs for a commuter so i will have time to save up some casholafor some heavy duty parts.. what hp does the rs tranny tend to disagree with? And cant you swap in a wrx tranny?

i think my car should be in the 12's w/ some tuning..

 

get your RS
buy an EJ20 for the RS
get a new sti 6 spd
put 6spd in WRX
put WRX tranny in RS

sounds about right

now get off ur *** and do it!!

 

was thinking wrx motor into rs, new stock wrx motor for wrx.. but hey who knows right now im broke!

 

haha yeah thats what i would do if i were you, then again though..
the GD chasis is supposed to be a lot stiffer than the older body style. LOL with that motor in a GC shell you might twist the frame!!!!!!

 

then ill just put strobes on it and sell it to you.

 

12's??? why so slow?

Last time I was at the track I was all done in 11 flat, oh wait your talking about drag racing not women... sorry my bad please move on.
