So where is a good place to start learning about mods

Went to the Vishu site per recomendation of a friend, but how do I learn what all this stuff is, like up pipes/down pipes etc? And is there a Hayes repair manual for the WRX?

I would so some searches through the TECH forums on here. It's something I've needed to do for some time, but haven't got around to. You'll probably end up learning some things you didn't plan on and you'll be happier about it later

Also try some searches at http://www.clubwrx.net . There is a HUGE resource of information there. In each section there is sticky's with links to help you find the most common answers to your questions.

His layout isnt the greatest but my favorite introduction to everything WRX is here: http://www.spdusa.com/

I had knee surgery about 2 weeks befor I bought mine and spent several days (on pain killers) reading through his site. A wealth of information, albeit on the conservative side of the mod spectrum.

I have no cluie how much of a newbie you are but if you know nothing about cars also read through www.howstuffworks.com. Great info for beginners!
