I also voted yes, but a part of me is glad it's not passing RIGHT NOW. That proposal is so flawed and there's so many holes with it. I'm all for legalizing the chronic for the potential billions in tax revenue/fines (and less bullcrap arrests), but let's get it right the 2nd time and polish it up, folks.

from the few potheads that i know, they all want 19 to not pass. as things are right now, you can purchase and carry marijuana legally and the process to do so is quite easy. just keep it the way it is now on how lax marijuana is without giving the government a chance to tax the hell out of it.

I voted. Can't yell at me! I actually drove to Menlo Park after work to go to one of the most southernly polling places in San mateo county to drop off my absentee ballot because I didn't mail it off in time. I am registered in San Mateo county still, but live in Campbell.

I just want to point out how stupid this statement is
If marijuana sold in legal dispensaries is more expensive than the black market alternatives, the black market wont die, and the marginal price will be the same. The only way to eliminate the black market would be to undercut it, in which case your point is null because pot would be cheaper.
Pot prices would either go down, or remain the same, but they wont go up.
