Maybe I'm overstepping my bounds here, but shouldn't this kind of discussion be done in private via PM? Why are we airing dirty laundry on the forum like this?

That, or move it to the Politics forum where we're more used to this kind of conflict, hah!

Important things to have some sort of transparency about in an online community : Rules & their Enforcement

I did searches of "troll" and "points" in the FAQ - No results.

If points are infractions, how we we check how many points we've accumulated?

How do we know what the litmus test is for receiving points? What are the defined lines between 'snarky remarks' - 'passive aggressive remarks'- 'flaming' ?

What is to keep a Mod from abusing their power when they are having a bad day?

Is there some sort of check & balance system? Is the points thing guilty until proven innocent? Is there any recourse from getting enforced on?

Trolling permits the fisherman to cover a wide area, making it the method of choice among sport anglers in pursuit of such highly mobile species as walleye and muskellunge (muskie) in large freshwater lakes and rivers. Trolling for sport is usually done at relatively low speeds using strong rods equipped with stout lines and heavy reels. The fisherman sits facing the stern, sometimes in a specially equipped fighting chair. Troll lines are also used by trawler fishermen for commercial catches, principally salmon and tuna.
