Step 1: That poster says that bottled water costs $10 per gallon.

Step 2: DIRECTLY ****ING BENEATH THAT it says that 53 billion gallons are consumed annually which generates 61 billion dollars. (if you can't do that math it comes out to ~$1.15 per gallon)

Step 3: I no longer care about or trust what the rest of the poster says.


The goddamn recycling hippies need to get their propaganda in order. I say we tax plastic bottles to the point of them being prohibitively expensive to purchase in areas where the tap water is meeting standards.

My suggestion is to just have a common sense tax. If you do **** that doesn't make any ****ing sense we're going to take your money. Not all of it, just enough to fix whatever you ruined with your stupid ****.

Maybe that doesn't take into account the cost to bottle and ship? 61 billion profit? dunno.
