i got my license when i was 16, i did not have a WRX though..

i drove a hand me down 72 Toyota Corrolla and it was bone stock, except for tokico suspension and mini-lite rims. I guess having a slow/old car helped me in not getting tickets, also, though i was almost always excited to drive, i tried to be careful of not violating the law

Agreed.

You really have to be VERY dumb to not pass the test.

Edit: Make conversation with the tester. I know someone who failed the first time, and also did an autofail the 2nd time but the tester liked him/his attitude and passed him.
