well i got a cf trunk and i put the sti park bench wing on it and then i took off my trunk and was switching all the lock parts over and then the main latch bolts werent the right size so we went to wal mart too see it they had any we got some and they fit so then we went to go put it on the car and the bolts that hold the trunk to the car were also the wrong size!! so now i have to wait to put it on im so mad!

I couldn't think of a good way to say that... in retrospect it looks pretty bad. I'll try to rephrase it.
Anyhow, could the weight problem be aleviated by using some homebrew load spreaders? I'm just guessing because I don't have a CF trunk or heavy STi wing. Worth a shot though.

Yeah, I usually do pretty well but I guess I slipped up pretty badly...
before we jack this thread any more...
I actually have a large box filled with bolts/nuts/washers of all sizes. It's a handy thing to have around for this kind of situation.

Yeah last night i was to angry to fix all my errors from the post and retype it. I was just getting out all my anger from two hours of work and nothing got accomplished.
