It's just sitting in one of the slots in my complex. I've been too sick to go take pics. Should've taken my flu vaccination... Now I'm regretting it

It doesn't mean they're necessarily bad but be careful on purchasing any car.

Car sales are really slow and dealers will do anything to get a sale.

Capitol Subaru is owned and operated under the Del Grande Dealer Group.

Don't want to panic you, but I would have asked for one to be performed and the results would have made or broken the deal.

The 07s have popped semi-frequently because of the crappy factory tune. 11k is a lot of miles to have unaccounted for in terms of driving conditions. I'd consider having a test performed before you do anything to the car.

Well I don't plan on modding the car for now except for a CBE to make it louder and RSB, but per Ronnie's inspection, the car has never been touched in terms of modifications all the stock bolts are still on and the car's stock tires shows that it has never been driven hard. And you can even tell that the previous owner really babied the car, there's not even a single rock chip on the bumper.

Not to say you're wrong. But if I had bought a car that was modified (which I ALMOST did) or if I could tell it was driven hard then I would actually panic right now and take it to get a compression test.

Thats the kick in the nuts. It isn't modifications that cause so many 07s to go boom, its the milage logged on the factory tune which basically runs lean and detonates off the lot.

Again, just to fully absorb the insanity of this, it is Subaru's stock tune that is the biggest (there is speculation on the rings/piston manufacturing process) culprit. And SOA is even denying warranty claims for blown ringland on stock cars.

The best thing you can do to an 07 is get it with 20 or whatever dealer miles and drive it (out of boost) straight for a protune.
