the rare 330's of that year had smg as an option. so does a few other years and a few zhp's with dinan packeges. you can tell right off the bat just from the rear quarter panels being so thin. an m3 has wider fenders and quarter panels, kind of like subie wagon fenders compared to subie sedan fenders. also, the exhaust, the interior, the headlights, the wheels, and a whole bunch of other crap. the car looks like a rare zhp though. its still nice and worth quite a bit of money. i think these have the m52 motors which you can get alot of power out of. id buy it for like 12-14k. idk about 25k though. lol

M3 can be bank to fix. I'd use the craigslist all states search and get one with less than 40k.
