Dude, take it to a different dealer. You should not have to stress out so mush over something like this.

Automall parkway aka Roseville Subaru does not carry a good reputation for service work at all.

Maita Subaru on Auburn ave in sac has treated me fairly and did not even ask wether or not I had mods as they did the clutch fix on my car. They did even make me prove that I had it (clutch shudder that is) They took my word and replaced clutch, throwout bearings, flywheel under warranty.

My car had at the time 17inch wheels and suspension mods as well as MRT radiator, 3rd cat elim and Aftermarket muffler and IC hoses.

I felt like they believed me and were not suspicious flakes. I should have purchased my car from them. I bought mine at the automall where you went.

Avoid the Automall dealerships at all costs!!!

I recommend going over to Maitas service department or perhaps even Auburn instead...

Maita raplaced your clutch because it chattered?

I thought that was a problem that the dealership did not fix b/c it is not "harmful". At least thats what I've have read. My clutch chatters too, and it pisses me off that it does this. Maybe I should go to Maita too.

YES, they did sir that is correct. As per the work order that you see posted by BAN SUVS.

Yes, you ought to get that clutch "fix" its a SOA remedy for first year production flaw.

Michael.

Can you go anytime to have the work done? Well I suspect, if you are within the time frame of the warranty. My conservative nature leads me to think that "the sooner the better" philosophy. I mean if its an issue why wait around?

In my case the throwout bearings went bad by the time I had 20K miles on the odometer. So in my not so mechanically inclined mind thinks......what other damage is incurred while the clutch is shuddering? I would just get the work done.. but thats just me.

By the way, ditto to what everyone said about the Roseville dealership. Avoid it like the plague. It is like Sacramento's Stevens Creek, kinda.
