So I hit a possum...

Driving home from work about an hour ago and a possum decides to cross the road. Needless to say, that will be the last time it'll be crossing the road.
I clipped it with the driver side corner of my front bumper, and managed to crack my bumper right under my foglight a good 3 inches. My foglight cover was pushed out and so was part of my bumper from the fender. I did manage to push everything back into place but that crack on the bumper is pretty noticeable.

There isn't enough damage I would say to claim it on insurance so my question is what do you guys think are my options? Picking up a front lip crossed my mind but I'm not sure what front lips are even available for the 2011 STI. Not trying to spend lots of $$ but I do want to cover it up.

Thanks

Yeah, If your deductable is $500-$1000 it will be cheaper to claim it. If you have Geico, I think if you were not at fault you do not have to pay a deductable....I would say it was the possum's fault, may he Rest In Peace

You have clear bra also right? So that will have to be done again also and that's like $500, so I would just make make I surname pay that way you get to be re clear bra for free also!

Get a fat quote for the entire clear bra getting redone, a factory bumper and paint.

Then get the bumper and paint done. Get just the bumper recovered and with the extra money pay for the lip.

So I called insurance but I'm going to head over
To a body shop and see how much the cost would be. I do have a clear bra on the car so that alone is gonna cost a
Pretty penny to replace. I'm not sure what exactly I'm going to do but it sucks none the less especially when my deductible is 1k
