So I hit a 13.7 @99mph yesterday.....

I guess that's not too bad considering the last time i've raced at infineon was 5 years ago and I had an MR2 at the time hitting 14.5. That's probably the fastest i've ever gone in the 1/4 mile. What else was pretty cool was that I was the only bug eye out there hitting pretty close to where all the STi's were hitting which was like 13.0-13.5. There were like 4 or 5 other STi's out there last night. Anyone from here? The last race i went up against an STi. I messed up on my launch and only hit a 14.1. WHAAA WHAAAA!!!! I'm probably going back next week though. Anyone else down to go? It'd be pretty cool to see more Subarus out there representing! Oh yah, there was a black STi out there and it sounded like when he launched he blew his transmission. Poor guy. =/

if it was an sti, it was most likely an axle since those trannies are ****en monsters.

Good times, what were your 60's? What all do you have done to your car?

i know my 60 foot was like 1.9 something. i'll post up my slip later. as for the mods i have a vf34, walboro pump, sti pinks, 3 port boost solenoid, tbe, up pipe, greddy short ram, and cobb ap. i got a custom tune for it but for some reason the OTS map pulls ALOT harder than the custom map they made for me.

who tuned it, and on a vf34 you should be in the mid 13s for sure, like 13.3-13.4

Post your timeslip, and what mph were you trapping?

How much power did the car make? The VF34 is capable of 12 second passed.

Did you make sure to keep the TMIC cool while staging?

Thanks

so there's the timeslip. i was in the right lane. i had FLI tune the car. they pulled 241 hp with 217lb/ft torque? that didn't seem right. i was thinking about taking it somewhere else to get it tuned and see if they can pull more than that. again, the OTS map feels stronger than the custom map. anyone else with the same type of setup but pulled more power?

I've taken numerous cars to Mike and had wonderful results

do you have a copy of the dyno? Looks almost as though the boost isn't holding, like it maxs then drops judging by your qm times...

were you shifting very hard?

i wasn't shifting that hard at all. i was taking it easy because i've never drag raced an all wheel drive and plus i haven't been to the track in 5 years. i do have the dyno sheet somewhere so i can post that too when i have time to scan it.

hell, that's what the tracks for homie! Do a couple runs on your protune, then a couple runs on the OTS. You'd be surprised what shifting can do, normal shifting to fast shifting shaves like .5 sec from my time, seriously.
