So I got my hood fixed..
At Carmat in Santa Cruz. If any of you remember a surfboard hit it and it had to be replaced. They replaced the hood, front rubber hood liner, grill, and a headlight bracket. They painted the hood as well. Everything looks good except for the fact that there seems to be about 20 or so little specs of something that either dried onto the paint or was on the hood when they painted it. If you watch a lightbulb or the sun reflect off of the paint and move your head they are easily visible. Also, if you run your fingernails over these little specks you can definitely feel them. There is no other place on my car that has something like this. Is this something that they should have made sure didn't happen, or is it something that just happens when parts get painted outside the factory? They did get paid over $2,000 for that work so I'm sure it wasn't supposed to be a shoddy job or anything. Will a clay bar remove something like this? Does anyone even know what it's called when this happens? I need to know if I should call them and tell them about this before it becomes too late.

Thanks guys. ^^
Well I got it back again and the hood looks much better. Not completely perfect, but I'm an **** sunuvabeyotch and I think it's a good job regardless. One good thing about it is that the few rock chips that were on the hood before are completely gone. I'll consider myself ahead of the game on this one.
One question though. What's the timeframe I have to wait before I can wash and/or wax the hood? Is it a month?

I will still feel a bit naked until I've got a few new zaino coats on the car and I take a serious crack at getting the ground-in brakedust off of the damn rims..
