So I get pulled over for a "loud exhaust".....
SO .......just like the title says,
A CHP had just got done giving a little green civic a ticket on thursday night near the fairfield mall. I rolled up to the stop light turning left to the gym, when it hit green I creeped from 2nd(attempting to make it quieter...didnt work) anyways the guy shoots over three lanes and immediately flashes his lights....WEAK...He asks me to pop my hood, luckily I havent done anything that he could notice was illegal, and it was also funny that the guy had never seen a STI's engine bay before....I love this "What is that???(pointing to my stock TMIC) That is not stock, it has to be illegal...." I explaned and showed him a picture from the SPT catalog i had in my trunk that it for sure "stock"....oh yeah then his partner gets out of the car and starts talking about evo's, I was like sweet maybe this guy knows what he is talking about....then he looks down to see my heat wrapped helix DP, he thouht it was the stock one.....I didnt complain...lol no tickets FTW!

i'm glad things are okay. . . me being a police officer, you never speculate or assume anything unless you know what your talkin about. Cause if you don't and try to bull **** your way; you definitely loose your credibility. other than that, I guess it helps us to mod are rides, cause some cops don't know what their talkin about. . . =)

I always dreamed about being a cop, and giving tickets to the exotics and civics, and letting the grassroots motorsports autoX'r types free.

That reminds me alittle bit of the time my brother got his Eclipse GS-T totaled by some dude running a stop. I smashed it over there and when I get there the cop started talking to me about how he used to have a GS-X that he fixed up and used to race and I couldn't help but to laugh because he was literally talking to me about his old car for like 5 minutes while the other cop did all the reporting.
