anyways enjoy the stream guys, it will be on all night and prob tomrrow as well. Its mostly lounge and downtempo type stuff. perfect kick it or chill music..

 

What are you using to stream out? I've been looking every now & then trying to figure out what to use. Do you have to stream out the content provided, or can you actually load up a collection of your own to stream out? Thanks!

 

um we are using a special streaming app that ties into a mysql db that allows for all sorts of custimzation. All you realy need is icecast and bandwidth. And of course your playlist and winamp or something like that to pass the audio to the streaming server.

Links not working for me but it probably has something to do with the fuqin firewall here at work.

Too bad too, I've been listening to a Mars Volta CD all morning long and I could use some down tempo now. Bastard firewall. I hate it, I hate it somethin fierce.

Yo Dre... You could probbaly just redirect a request on port 80 to port 8000, and then I'd be tuned into the same stream right? I mean, that's assuming that no webpages are being served from that addy... If it's something quick and easy for you to do, I'd be all over it.
