*Flooding, sorry for the typo, water on my phone screen.

Post your pics or story. Union City, we just had enough time to clear all the main street drains out and all of a sudden with this 1" in the last hour and a half our street drains are backflowing.

For comparison, here's the same section of street during the break in the storm when we got the drains cleared.

This was just drained less than an hour and a half ago.

More of the back yard.

I just was out staffing our engine, someone drove a suburban into about.... 3 ft deep water, it went down while we were there then it poured, back up to the lettering.
In front of the station is a 1.5ft deep river.
My perpendicular street was flooded on my way home.

About to get another shot of the rain gauge and call it a night. I can't afford to catch a cold.
Sorry all the shots are weak, I'm not keen on risking the health of our good cameras. Reminder, when I started taking pics we had a break and it had just filled up to the 1" mark. This is as of right now, overflowing again.

Morgan Hill is going under! a lot of roads closed down around town. A full on river going across Santa Teresa Blvd. Not to mention I couldn't park on my street due to 3' of standing water. I'll try to post pics tonight.

I don't doubt that in the least, we used to have a cabin up on Nellie Lane in Boulder Creek. I gotta say the iPhone app has been handy lately.
Get me a shot from the bridge on Lanktree Lane in Boulder Creek looking upstream. The cabin that's now painted all white was ours.

Few gutters over here are flooded (ralston/alameda in belmont) but over all it wasn't that bad...
Work in redwood city (woodside/middlefield south) was pretty bad
