Snow Is Coming To The Bay AGAIN! SNOWBOARDING on Skyline!
I'm planning on going up to Skyline to build a snowboard jump or two to play around on, probably Friday Saturday, and for sure Sunday and on.
We need generators and lights if you have any. Or if we want to ride at night, we don't have to though.
I have a Generator that could power quite a few halogen lights, i only have 2 lights. So if you have more bring em
The best places i found were south of 9 by Castle Rock there are big dirt turnouts, downhill, with piles of dirt (for the jumps) plus that section of skyline is 2500-3000 ft elevation
Better than spending gas$ for Tahoe and lift tickets and time spent driving. I think it will be cool.

I drove past this area last night, and snow was still piled up on the side, and lightly everywhere else. At the moment we would have to carry the 1foot snowballs from the snowplow to make a runway or a jump...or just wait til it snows again.
haha rallying our cars is a given.
Yeah i have some railing, i have to take a look at it, might have to grind it smooth.

yeah it is.
so 9/35 intersection is 2600 ft. that should be open from at least one of the 4 roads.
also Mt. Umanhum is 3000 ft
and Empire grade on the opposite ridge is also 2500 ft but those two are our last resort, it would be a bad drive for everyone over the hill. Skyline is pretty easy for everyone.

Montebello road out of Stevens Creek Reservoir is 2800ft. and Page Mill is a good option.
But for now we'll plan on going up 9 from Saratoga

yeah, i was thinking that would be closed, hwy 9 has more chance of being open since its a residential road...plus there are less chances of sliding off a cliff on 9

I'll be going up to bear for the weekend. Gonna be some SICK snow. Otherwise I'd be so down for this. If you were doing it tonight I'd roll up there. I might go for a drive tonight anyways... maybe tomorrow night to fart around if it's snowing or super early tomorrow morning before work.
