Well if anyone wants to meet earlier, I'm going to try to be up there at like 7:30.

 

im going for a drive down that way at around 8pm or 830

 

If you have to ask, i wouldnt attempt the journey. I was dodging all kinds of FWD and RWD cars trying to go up/back down it.

Last year i was on the news, drifting in that lot with all the caltrans guys watching me...a CHP asking if everything was OK LOL...and 2 hardcore Miatas crossing thru the intersection!

I might be up there.

 

HAHA. you made the thread man. There were no incidents on hwy 9 last night. We spoke with some officers down by the lookout last night at 4am and they werent too concerned about people messing around in parking lots. Sliding up and down the corners is another story. LOL at wing skating last night. Wouldnt go up there until around midnight though, way too crowded right now.

I was just by there like an hour ago......no new snow and TONS of news and people and little kids.

when i was lapping that parking lot, it was only rallyable for a few hours, then by 4 am it was useless and wet.

 

I went up 9 to four corners today around 11. There was so much snow! I took a bunch of pictures that I will put up later. Unfortunately my subie is out in Texas so I took a 350z up which wasn't toooo fun in all that sludge.

 

i was up in the SC mountains all day. Very wet and slippery, i was in my work van.

be careful guys.

 

I'm heading up there in 5min w/ the subie. Can't go at 12 since I gotta get up early for work. Any pics I get I'll post em up here.

tryed to make it out ut fog was really bad on 35 ourside of woodside. ill have to go up durring the day.

 

Made it up there around 10:30 and hung out for like 20 min. As you can see definitely still snow up there. Fog got pretty thick in the last part of 9 before the parking lot, watch out for that if you're going up there. Also saw a white STI heading up 9 right when I popped out of the hills back on to the main street.

It was pretty much impossible to get any pics up there with the flash because of all the fog.
