Slow car...
Let me know if you have this problem also. I think I may have one of those 'slow' factory cars. What I mean is, with the mods I have, my car should be running faster then it is. There is nothing wrong with my car and everything runs normally. I know there are those 'fast' factory cars. A friend of mine with a new CL type S can beet other CL's with mods in a race when he was stock. He has some stuff done to his car and can beet other CL's with even more mods then he has. He runs mid 13's and he just kills me. I know the type of mods you do can either hamper or improve your performance, I know this. When I compare what I have to what other people have, I should be staying with him in the mid 13's also, but I am more like a low 14. As an example, I have the equivalent to a Vishnu stage 1 car. I don't really care, but was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem. I've been pretty unimpressed with the performance of the WRX. I may be selling mine soon anyway.
Call harry. Tell him you need "those", two of the big ones. By tonight.
Well seriously, yes some cars are just "slow" out of the box. But uh... let's see:
CL-S w/ some mods - 280 hp.
you - 290hp
his whp: 235 ish
your whp: 215 ish
So you see, from a roll you can still get fried simply b/c of AWD losses.
I'm guessing you aren't doing him from a stop b/c I have totally murdered even a 400hp GS-T from from one stoplight to the next (<1/8 mile) so I just don't see you losing to an almost stock CL-S. I have less mods than you btw.

O yeah, just for kicks:
when I had my gtech I decided to G my launch: .97 g's.
Now plug that into a basic physics equation and you get 0-60 in like, less than 3 seconds. So how's that, experiencing the g-forces of a McLaren F1 for albiet the half second...
AWD is the sht.
