Slipstreams on a WRX...what do you think?

I have a white '04 wrx and I bought a set of Rota Slipstreams 16x7 in Flat Black. I bought them mainly because they were, cheap ($200), light (13lsb), and not flashy.

Do you think I should put them on, or will I get flamed for having "honda rims" on my car?

I wouldn't, but that's just me. It's not a "honda" rim either, but made very popular by them because of the Spoon SW-388 which is a Regamaster EVO rim. They just made it magnesium and put their name on it. If you like it though, go for it. Screw what others think.

hey ed!!! How have you been doing?

Are you serious about getting a set? I think your Grids with the polish lip looks a lot better.

I think a couple guys already have the Slipstreams on their WRX's. Nekoball has silver 16" ones on his white sedan, and suby_dude has 17" black ones on his blue sedan....not sure if either or both still have them on though.

IMO, they look okay...not really a fan of "star" design wheels though, unless they're 3pc and on Benzos, BM'ers, etc. (Sorry guys^^^^^)

hmm, good to know! don't be surprised to find a Type R sticker on your ride in the morning! (sorry, no badge handy, but the sticky should be good for ~10hp!)
