Thanks everyone. The car was on conenential dws all seasons when it crashed. They are good tires, but not winter tires. Although I was being caution and driving well below the speed limit, I feel it was still too fast for the slushy/icy conditions. I was traveling between 20-25 when I left the road.

Here are some more pics in the light of the damage…IMG_3059 by cwc16, on Flickr

Sorry to hear! I work at Boreal and your car looks familiar. I was on Hankook winter tires this season and still had a lot of sketchy moments up there. It sucks this had to be late season too.

Glad you are OK

Sorry to say it, but that looks like damage that will be too expensive to repair, so you're looking at a total. I don't see how anyone could even question that because of where the damage is.

From the input Ive gotten and the research Ive done, its looking more and more like its going to be to expensive to repair and is looking totaled

Im really bummed to see my first Subaru, and the first car I bought end like this, but it will not be the end. Im thankful I'm fine and I can replace a car.

I do think I will be parting things such as the limited leather interior, roof racks, wheels + tires, other exterior bits.

That's harsh. Anyone that drives in the snow on a regular basis looses it a time or two. Some are lucky and some are not. You definitely ended up on the not so lucky side.

My guess is that it's totaled.

Quarter panels are EXPENSIVE. You're gonna need... rear door, quarter panel, front bumper, Side skirt. Toss in paint and blending... totaled.

I had to have the left side of my car painted... NO replacement body panels. $3000.

DWS are good tires if the S is still showing and it's run with proper fitment and air pressure. But like any other all season tire it's not a snow tire. One of these days I really need to get some dedicated snow tires. Makes all the difference in the world.

Just saw the front fender damage too. And it looks like the front door as well.

The adjuster might throw a new bumper beam and a new rear bumper in there as well.

If your wheels are scratched that will go in the quote. Same if there are any cuts on the tires.

And that's not even looking at anything structural under the car.

I'd say it's 95% chance it's totaled.

Yeah My wheels are actually in pretty decent shape considering the odds, just looks like a little curb age on the front and a knick on the rear. The fender and front door are definitely damaged Under the car, from what i could see without a jack, was actually ok besides my oil pan has a nasty dent. It does not leak though. I drove the car home after I was towed and heard no noises and it drove straight so That at the very least was good. But still looking more like its totaled.

Just the damage to the C pillar rear quarter panel is a total in my book. Most places won't fix that, not because it can't be done but because it will be VERY expensive to do correctly.

Really sucks to have something like that happen. Sorry man.

you should claim it with insurance as a total, get paid out, buy the car back from the insurance company and sell parts etc, so you can profit some money.. sorry to see that happen to a nice ride man..

Definitely total loss. The C-Pillar/quarter panel damage alone could do it, but combine that with the miles, other damage, and things that have not come to light yet, it's definitely totaled. If you want the car again, your best bet is to buy it back, strip it, and find another body to let your parts live again. Otherwise, it's time to move on. Bummer deal and I am sorry for your loss.

glad you are ok and a trooper for driving it home after the accident.

Like many people have suggested, total loss

If I were in a similar situation, I'd consider this as a way to resurrect your car

If everything is running straight. Might think about just running it with the damage. Looks kinda badass to me haha.
