SJ Subiefest PM Caravan
Greetings! As promised, i will assume lead for a PM group on october 5th for the drive down to pomona. This will be my first time leading a group on a 5 hour drive. Ive been doing some looking around to setup a solid plan for a flawless caravan. Here is what I have so far:
TENTATIVE:
Date: 10/5/2012
Meet time: 3:00PM
Meet Place: Snell and Blossom HIll in San Jose
Depart: 3:30-3:45
Contact: 02RS25
Im thinking we meet at one of the plaza parking lots on Blossom Hill and Snell at 3PM. There is a gas station on each corner. (chevron, Shell, 76, and Valero). There is also a good deal of stores, restaurants, etc. I figuere this would be ideal for stocking up on fuel and whatevers for the drive down. there is also a starbucks up snell about a mile.

Here is a tentative route from out meet point to Pomona. 101S to 152 crossover to 5. Im still working on the route itself (stops, fuel, food, etc.)
Again, I will assume lead until someone steps up and would like to take it. I have no problem doing so. but would like to know whether or not im leading

I will be leaving South San Jose between 330-4PM on friday. the closer 330 the better. if anyone wants to get something going, im thinking of meeting at a decided rendezvous point at 3 and be out by 330. im thniking ill get to Pomona area around 10PM. let me know whos down
