I liked the first 30-45 minutes of it, then after that I started to get bored. Some parts made me laugh, but I guess if your into the novel, you will really like it.

Haha, I thought the exact same thing. I kept thinking "I wonder why her eyes were blue while the other girl's dress was red" and stuff like that. AP English in high school annoyed me then and keeps doing so today.

Storyline was ok. Enough to keep me interested, but nothing like, say, the Usual Suspects.
Filming, cinematography, etc was a class act. It truly felt like I was watching a comic book. Sound was also done very well.

pretty much exactly what I said after watching it last night. Great flick.

Story line wasn't too bad. It was very stylized. It was more about that. I love the coloring in the movie. The contrast...when and where they put the color. How the color created emotion...etc. Very well done.

If it wasn't that good and was just unique it would be worth the money since pretty everything is the same now. But it was unique and good.

As for jessica alba. I actually prefered the actress that played the lesbian parole officer better...go figure. though alba would have been nice to see in that...style of scene but it would have blown here charecter.

I thought it was a great film, very unique something that is hard to come by these days in the film industry. I do admit some parts of the story line were slightly boring but overall I liked the film a lot. Jessica Alba is a hottie but I have to agree with Army on this one. The lesbian parol officer made me want to jump into the screen and bite her butt cheek.
