I was the pedestrian you almost hit. I don't know why you didnt yield to the pedestrian, afterall there are blinking lights in the road, and if that isnt enough to get your attention there are 2 gigantic neon yellow signs in the middle of the road informing you of your responsibility to yield to pedestrians. Maybe the problem is you do not know what yield or pedestrian means. A pedestrian is a person who is walking, as indicated in the picture informing you that you must yield to pedestrains. Yield means that if there is a pedestrain in the crosswalk, you know those gigantic white lines painted on the street, that you must stop for them. I hope I cleared everything up for you, next time you see someone walking in the white paint on the road I hope you will stop for them.

lame dude. i drive a silver 05 wrx and live in san mateo - i promise it wasn't me. this crap happens all the time as i'm out cycling/training on the roads above san mateo.
