I think i hate UFC / Tapout Due to the fact that everyone jumped on the bandwagon about a year ago.

You know how those things go.

Its cool until everyone else thinks its cool also.

Its exploded tooooooo quickly and now everyone thinks they are some type of pridefighter.

Ironically, Flatline. You are doing it because "everyone else is doing it". Even while you talk gave us a paragraph about how you don't like doing things because it's the "cool thing" - you just put out a stereotype statement

about mixed martial arts because it was the widely held belief. How's that for being a sheep and saying that just because everyone else is saying it?

So first off, I'd suggest you watch the MMA documentary "Potent", I am 100% sure that will change your opinion about what MMA is, and what the UFC is.

I used to think UFC was pretty gay. I would have held the same opinion as you a few years ago. However after I started training I realize now how much it is a science. That I think my boxing, jujitsu coaches may be just as sync'd, deep into their field as my electrical engineering professors were into say medical imaging or electron beam lithography back in college.

I realize now why they call boxing "the sweet science". I used to think "that's bull**** boxing is just two guys kicking the crap out of eachother".

I'll just leave it at that, there's too much to talk about here.

I drive a modified subaru because it is a RACE CAR. No i dont race on the streets, the car was built with the sole intention of tracking.

Im sorry, i would rather drive a car by myself, then get into a huge sausage fest pile of dick when your tackling another guy.
Are you sure you don't just hate guys that are bigger and tougher than you? The same guys that took your lunch money when you were a kid?

I'm totally kidding man. The sport isn't new, it's just new to us. Fans have been watching that stuff around the world forever. The reason you think 18yr old kids are jumping on the bandwagon is because they're friggen 18. Youngsters just getting into it. Gladiatorial sports have been around since the beginning of time. It's what humans do. Big tough guys love that stuff. Little delicate guys don't. I'm not insinuating that you, specifically, are delicate. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Anyway, it's just the laws of nature. I think it's much better than boxing because fighters use the entire body and are forced to adapt to multiple fighting styles. But saying it's gay makes no sense at all. Saying it's stupid is even more rediculas. Liddell drives cars that cost more than most homes that any of us will ever own.

I dont mind martial arts, if i had some time, i would like to train in one form or another

My wife is an Ex- Kenpo Instructor.

I dono, its probably just the whole bandwagon thing, i used to like it like 8 years ago or whatever but, ehh the whole "cool factor" kinda just died.

Your opinions are much more acceptable when you respond like a mature adult. Instead of your first comment that makes you sound like the same 'kids' you detest.

Glad we could actually converse with different opinions and not make it a ***** drama fest.
