Sighting: Porsche Carrera GT (x3)!
On the way to work on Monday morning, I was heading down Marina Blvd. towards downtown. I stop at an intersection... then I saw them coming the opposite direction.
It was like slow motion. I didn't recogize the headlights right away. It was about to stop at the intersection I was just about to leave. It was black... as I admired the sleek quarterpanels, my line of sight quickly ended in the abyss of the huge side intakes and blistered fenders and beautiful wing. God was it beautiful. My car moved forward while my head swept back. Was it a dream?
Must have been. Until a yellow one followed right behind it. The open cockpit, beautiful mirrors, big yellow brakes. Then a final treat....
A silver one, right behind the yellow. Enjoyed this one like a long drink of water. Wow... what an experience. A Carrera Caravan, all new heading somewhere... somewhere but here.
Sorry... had to share the experience.

well, it doesn't surprise me one bit that the cayennes are selling well. look at the amount of SUVs on the road and tell me there's not a market for high performance SUVs. it's a new release and the sales will die down eventually.
and yes the carerra GT will be right around the price your friend was quoted. well, msrp at least. the first ones, especially in this area, will go to people who are willing to part with a lot more than 450K.

I don't know you guys... today our restaurant is participating in the Best of the Bay event out in the Concourse in the City. I'm driving the Exec Chef, Pastry Chef, a line cook, dining room manager and all of the food to the event (love the wagon). I pull up to the back and what do I see??????
An immaculate silver Porsche 911 GT2. Let me start off by saying that I really look AT cars when I'm driving. This is the most GT, GT2 and GT3 cars I've seen ever. It's a sign!!!!
