saw a black sti this evening, in berkeley.
I was driving up Durant, in a white wrx, saw it in my rear view mirror, and I pulled aside to watch it pass. Driver was wearing a yellow cap, ( i think)
Nice car, whoever owns it.

Well, now that you've described it, I'm pretty sure it was a real STi you saw, unless someone was dumb enough to go through all that trouble in the past month to make it "look" like one. I didn't know some people got 'em already.

Lotsa riceboys fill every import (and even domestic) nitch. It wouldn't surprise me to find a '04 WRX doctored to look like a STi. Remember, to make a car look like a fast car you don't have to know much about anything, you just gotta have $$$ 
It could be the real thing... but I'd think we'd know about it already.

It's got to be hard keeping up with all the threads. That STi was at Albany subaru in Berkeley for less than a day (thursday) when it got bought. I went in and it was $35.9K but apparently sold for $37+K. Ouch.
That premium's gotta hurt.

foke an STI get a vishnu stage 3, sti aint nothing but gloss and um gold wheels. Who needs a 6 speed when 5 are more then plenty!
blah to everyoen selling there wrxs to buy an sti, go out and sell crack to school kids to simply buy a new sti outright. I mean that is what i am going to do.

second, the STis are about a million times better than the WRX in every respect. DCCD? active ABS? two point five liters? twin scroll turbo? three LSDs? brembos? 17s? RE040s? 40mm struts? need i go on?

Seriously...how oculd u say not to buy the STI...that car is just one unbelievable car..like abeast being unleashed to the little world and to rule all those other cars...itll be pretty hard to get that all on a wrx...all i gotta sy is...STI will OwN..
