I really want a recaro too. i saw this bad *** one it was red and had a bucket look. it was sweeeeeeet.

however the wife said no. she said my money i used to buy my exhaust was my recaro moneys.

so exhaus it is...or was.

she has this crazy $200 eddie bauer. it matches the inside of her prius. maybe its more comfy for long *** rides but if i plan on a super long ride i will just jack her car seat.

for the sake of havin to roll with a child seat even when the baby isnt with me i like this one just fine. is better than the jungle crap i used to take out if he wasnt with me.

thanks for the compliments.

i just did one for a neighbor with an sti. looks good. didnt take pics but maybe i can run down and get some later. just imagie the same seat with the sti intercooler logo.

Um...no. THESE are the coolest child safety seats ever! Head, shoulder and hip bolsters FTW!!!

Recaro Young Sport - I have two of these in my car. They look great and match the black interior of my car. I bought them both from Myles at gtworx.com

Now if Irish_car_B0mb could stencil these....

Hi there -

I've got a 2004 WRX wagon and I've going to have a little teeny baby come August. I really like the Recaro, but, I need something for a itty-bitty infant to begin with.

I really want to find something that I know will fit in the car well.

I'm considering the Chico Key fit or the Babytrend flex

Here's some links:

The Chicco
http://www.chiccousa.com/product.php...0&cat=3&page=1

The Babytrend:
http://www.babytrend.com/products_de...000&LampID=969

Has anyone had an experience installing either of these into an '04 WRX Wagon? Or has anyone had a good experience with any infant seat in said car?

Many thanks for any advice here!

Best,

David

No matter what you do...do not get the travel system...they are a pain in the rear. Don't spend too much money on an infant seat, because they grow out of them within 5-6 months. I find the the graco snug-ride is the best for your money. they fit 90% of the stroller out there. Save your money and invest in a nice convertable infant-toddlers car seat.

true dat^ my first kid used an infant seat for like 6 months...$300 down the drain...i sold it not expecting a 2nd kid...so now i just rigged up a computer box and left the styrofoam and packing peanuts inside, and i just cut two holes for the seatbelt to slide thru, its pretty secure for free$. and he loves chewing those peanuts haha. Oh well, they dissolve in your mouth, they say they are safe to eat.

nah i dont have kids

Yeah the graco one was the ****. especially with the stroller combo take them in and out of the car with out ever waking them. go shopping without switching them out. now my boy is 1yo and i wish they had something like that for him.

My wife has an eddie bauer that is a infant seat and then flips around for a toddler. I still like my WRX seat though. The snug ride is your best bet. Great rating no recalls and good value. Plus most WRX even the ones before 2005 have latch so you are good to go.
