my friend on s2ki showed me this thread.. i just threw up in my mouth.
Well I didn't win anything, but I walked away with the best trophy- new found pride in my s2000. I had literally hundreds of people take photos of and with my car, including tons of models! The cars were beautiful for the most part- though there was a hello kitty scion xB abomination that made my soul whimper. There was maybe 10 s2000's all of 'em with at least 20 grand stuffed into 'em. It made me feel good to know I have 130 thousand miles on my car, I drive it everyday, and I've done everything all by myself- and I have MAYBE 2 grand invested in aftermarket... Most of that into my suspension, Apex-i, and my fenders, Seibon. I just got that new hood from nightwing117, thanks Glen! Those rims came from craiglist, 250$ for all four with tires. I rattle- caned 'em at home the day before the event! Here's some of the best pics, enjoi!

let me explain this to you guys...
I have had to witness the progression of this car from day 1. from the orange vinyl, to the red neon, to the white bumper held on with black zip-ties, to the bumper being rattle canned so you couldn't see the zip-ties or the big gaps where it didn't fit right.
I've watched this would be decent sports car get completely riced out
