Well i was kind of thinking about swapping my 04 front end for a 02/03 since i love the way it looks. How much is invovled in doing the swap, is it to much of a hassel?

PS. Anyone want to swap

 

its a lot of work and money to do it.

 

I figure it's not all that hard. I wanted to do it myself, but I don't know how. I would venture a guess it's everything from the front bumper, head lights, bumper beam, fenders, and hood. I think that would be it.

 

What year and color car do you have

 

It's kind of a cool idea....I talked to someone else that did it...They said it wasn't that big of a deal, you also need to swap hoods...

I believe all you actually need to do is: swap fenders, headlights, bumpers (with grills), wheel-well plastics (since they bolt up to the bumper differently I believe), foglights (if applicable) and hood.

Then re-wire headlights a little differently since the 02-03 use a single bulb for low/high beams, while 04's use two different bulbs.

I think the headlight part would probably be the hardest task, otherwise everything else seems like it would just be bolt off, bolt on. Aligning some of the things like fenders might be needed, but I'm not sure and it might first perfectly anyways.

Aye... 02/03 sucks the D. (Unless they have projector lights with some miror mods like a lip). Otherwise, I'd rather drive a tribeca... HAHAHH, just kidding. The tribeca makes me want to kill myself.

hey hey, if you look at that damn thing everyday like i have to. It grows on you, especially the red one that's on my lot. Oh and back on topic, man I was JUST thinking of the exact same thing, swapping the front end to a 02/03. If I do that, I'm also gonna paint my car the 03 yellow.
