just asking,
I got my speeding ticket like a month ago, and haven't received any notice yet. So I called the Fremont superior court to check, and also online. somehow they said (well...voice recorded) no record were founded(yes.. hope they lost it... hahaha ). and TODAY is the last day to show up at the court, should I just show up at the court anyway or just do nothing???
Need a respond quick!!!!! well..... before 5pm.... thanks guys...

ok you need to be sure there is no record, cause these cops write so damn sloppy half of thier tickets go to waste. now I really dont know what I would do if I were you. but good luck anyways

It often takes way longer than the date the cop writes on the ticket...when they finally get to process it they usually give you a new court date on the courtesy notice.
my vote is to go also.
1. you got a tix already so you know you are paying.
2. if you go and they find no tix exists, then you are free and clear. a little thing called due process. if you appear by the date listed and it's their fault.. well tough doodles to them.
if #2, then have fun...

Don't go to the court house yet, Alan. My friend got a ticket about a month ago, he went down to the court house and asked if he could pay it... the lady there said they were backed up, and it'll be another 60 days. So, just be patient.

I see.... it really sucks that the ticket I got is like 5 miles over the stupid speed limit... that mother lover.... I kinda forgot to ask him for the record of his speed gun, cause I killed up all my brain cells for the stupid.. mid-term on the day before... kinda stuck up... haha....
anyway... i guess i just wait a little longer then...

I had a friend who also didnt get her notice in the mail, and when she went to the court on the day that the ticket said to, it was closed. So when she asked a local cop, the cop said that since she didnt technically "go to" court, she could be arrested the next time she's there... like for reporting for jury duty.
