shopping near Berkley

Hey all, i'm from sacramento and i'm planning a trip with my gf and friends to go to Berkley to visit a friend. That friend lives right across from UC Berkley, but she dont know any shopping center around there. I was hoping you guys can help me out. I'm looking for a nice place to hang out, a mall specificly. My friend told me that the nearest mall from Berkley is in SF.... Any ideas on where to go while im at Berkley?

It is spelled Berkeley. Yup... Don't know any places though. Is Spangler's still a good place to eat?

Eat at Askew Grill while you're there.

If you hop over to SF go to the Westfield Mall.

I agree as well. Many shops in a small street setting.

+1 on this ^^ Closest to Berkeley for sure. Westfield is in SF. You can actually just hop on the BART train almost door to door to Powell ST. Station

Walnut Creek is a little far away but it's the most LA-type outdoor mall we've got. It's really nice to hang out there if it's sunny.

Westfield has all your upscale stuff if you're actually going to drop $5K on an LV purse.

oh hell no...
lol the shopping is for me to recover my pain mentally not having the suby for 3 weeks... I'm treating myself out lol. I went to Walnut Creek one too many times, not that intresting to me. I gota check out that baystreet thing. Westfield is an option to my passangers. I'm leaving sac around 12:45 because most of my friends have midterms, and hoping to reach UCBerk by 2-3? Shop til 5-6. Then go hiking area and hike my *** off. I hope I see you guys on the road. I'l be driving my 06 cgm TR with STI wing and a noticeable straight pipe haha.

Hilltop looks like it's stuck in the early 80's. And how many Sheik shoe stores does one mall need?
