"Shooting Star"?

Did anyone see the bright light almost directly east at around 7:40pm tonight? Just to the left of one of the brightest stars/planets. (Isn't there a planet in view right now?)

Looked like a shooting star or a satalite burning in. Brighter and faster than anything I have seen before, I think.

Glad I wasn't the only one to see it. It was BRIGHT. Anyone know any internet resources where I could look to find out?

Santa was testing a new sleigh. I hear the test didn't go so well. My condolences to the Elfen Community. I know Elf test pilots know the risks going in.. but it still doesn't make it any easier when you lose one.
