Just wanted to let you guys know. Today was my last official and truly independant independance day.

I had her set up so good. Months of telling her there was no way that it would happen. Financial stuff. etc. Then today we went to the mall to pick up some magazines and hair dye and we went into the jewelry shop in the mall. Tried on like 4 rings. Got a model number, price quote, card...whole 9.

Middle of the fireworks. Right on the water at the beach. I dropped to me knee. she couldn't even look at me or anything. she covered her face and started balling. i put the ring on her finger and she fell to her knees and started crying like a little baby. This has been her dream her whole life to get married or engaged on the 4th. She was so bummed when it didn't happen last year.

so just wanted to let all you guys know.
