Weaksauce suspension on Floppierre. Dude's probably laughing that he only got a slap on the wrist.

As for the other night's game with the shootout, would've been nice if McLellan went with Hertl instead of Burns at the end...

Agreed,The NHLneeds to really crack down on players that Deliver these kind of hits that can end a players season or carrier. It seems every other night we see another hit to the head. It needs to stop

They are steam rolling everyone. They need to save this stuff for the playoffs.

Going back to the Floppierre suspension, Boyle should've never said he was "feeling great." Since he's still not back in uniform yet, that probably factored into Shanahan's decision. Shanahan's an idiot, but who knows what might have happened had Boyle not said/texted anything to media that he was feeling great.

Under the Players CBA, he isn't labeled as a repeat offender. Therefore got an easier punishment.

Way to protect the players.....players?

Crazy save by Niemi on the last shootout. That ranks up there with the Hertl goal IMO. Yes, it involved a lot of luck, but still a great save nonetheless.

I'd feel better about that statement after I see them keep this up against LA and Aneheim.

ha! you obviously haven't followed the sharks in their past seasons. they are one of the best teams in the regular season every year, but they choke every year in the post season

I actually have. And every single year I make the prediction of us going undefeated and winning the cup. The hot start last season and last year made me actually kind of think it would happen haha.
