SFR SCCA Slush Round 4 (part II) - Oakland 12/9

The last event of the year is here! This autox is at the Oakland Coliseum on Sunday, December 9th.

2012 Solo Slush Round 4 * San Francisco Region SCCA

The morning groups should start around 9 to 9:30am, so be there between 8am and 8:30am to register and walk the course if you want to run in the morning. The afternoon groups will start at 1pm at the earliest. You need to be there before noon to register for the afternoon groups.

It's $35 to participate and free to watch. If you're not an SCCA member and want to race you need to purchase a weekend membership at the event, which is $15. The price of the weekend membership can be applied to the annual membership if you decide to join.

It looks like we'll be using either the NW or NE lots instead of the usual lot; you'll see the event as you enter the coliseum from 66th Ave.

I hope to see you out there!

EDIT:
For you first timers or those that haven't been at an event for the last year, we're offering free weekend memberships for this event. To get the free weekend membership, you need to join the
Facebook SFR SCCA SOLO page, add a comment on the free membership comment and PRINT IT OUT. Bring it to registration table and we'll waive the weekend membership fee. You'll only have to pay the $35 for racing.

There was an old MR2 out there this year that had basically no shocks at all. Craziest thing I've seen. Back end was bouncing around everywhere and the wheel hop was epic.

Updated the first post. First timers and those that haven't raced with SFR SCCA in the last year can have the weekend membership fee waived. Check the first post for more info.
