Brutal. Awful way to start the new season. Every run was frustrating. Finally felt back on the ball the first half of the last run, then spun it rather dramatically going into the back 1/3. Sigh....
I would love to blame the practically bald rear tires, lack of experience in the rain, and rusty skills since I missed slush season... but Gagan went and beat me by 1.5 seconds in my own damn car!!
Next week. Dry asphalt. It's on like Donkey Kong.

It was a wild ride when it got real wet. I spent a little more than half the time correcting the car than moving it down the course.
Actually all those are valid reasons to have a tough time.
The rear tires def didn't help in the wet. Even on regular auto there was a lot of breakaway at the rear. I thought about running AUTO +, maybe I should have tired it.
Experience is what helps the most in the wet, so not having a lot hurts, but every race you get in the wet builds on that.
And missing a lot of time hurts. I felt really rusty on my first run.
If I hadn't swapped the block, and just rolled up on new tires I'd have broken 39 easily in that rain in my car. Having the response was a huge advantage in such wet conditions.
Maybe the catless downpipe will make me like the turbo more.

You just need to get used to having a much shorter powerband.
