Round 3 is this Sunday, March 2nd, at the Marina Airport in Marina, CA.

San Francisco Region SCCA - Solo/Autocross Events

Marina is generally a smaller turnout than Oakland (120-160 vs 230-260 in Oakland), but the surface is A LOT better: concrete and no light poles. I'm sure I'll see a few of you out there.

Edit: FYI, this is the ONLY Marina event for SFR SCCA in 2014 and is probably the LAST TIME there will be an SFR SCCA event at Marina.

 

if im not snowboarding ill be there. Hopefully being a tire warmer for a friend haha

I will be out if my replacement axles get delivered and installed in time If not, I might bring out the wagon to toss around

Though if my car isn't 100% I was supposed to drive Jourdan's car. If he's not coming I may need to find another ride in T2.

My car is almost in running shape. Need to get the wheels on, bed pads, and just get some miles on it. Maybe tomorrow.

It gets aligned Saturday.

You mean you are just all stock? If that's the case, it is the best way to learn how your car handles and slowly adjust from there as you reach certain limits. Don't be like a lot of ricers on this forum and immideately slam your ride with Megans or BCs with a 10" rims

 

I'm still debating whether or not I'm going. I've been working non stop 12 hour days for the last 2 weeks and not sure I'll have anything left in me come Sunday. If it rains, I'm def not going. If sunny, I give my odds at 50/50.

Sad to hear we're losing Marina. I love the surface.

 

The best suspension in the world makes no difference if you can't drive and this is a good way to learn both what YOU and your car are capable of. Even if you don't run, its still fun to watch
