If any of you guys are bringing your ladies here is some info on where you can ditch them during the day, if you don’t think they can handle Vegas by themselves http://www.semashow.com/content/?id=33370#spouseanchor

2, 2-for-1 drinks at Mist @ TI coupons
2 or 3 free passes for Tangerine, each pass will get you and one other person in on a Wednesday night, local night (I know I have these, just need to find them)
Wednesday night is also Wine club night at UNLV, lots of food and way to much wine with a guest speaker from the wine industry for $10 (I don’t remember the exact price, I should I am the treasure for the club, but if you mention SEMA I will only charge you $10)
I will see what other passes I can get from people the next few days at school. Most employees are more then willing to give out passes, as a local I never really care to ask. Also, most bouncers will get you into the VIP line if you slip them a 10 or 20. Ghost Bar is a nice one, you can avoid a long line with a few bucks if you don’t know anyone.
If you want to double up on hobbies, there is a big golf tournament/beer fest either the weekend before or following SEMA (10/30 or 1/6) at some fancy course. It is $100 for a round of golf plus food and passes into the beer bash afterwards (lots of different beers you can try) It is something like $150 for just a round of golf at this place. Anyhow I am not 100% on these numbers but I can double check tomorrow and give anyone the info of the person to call to get the deal, I will see her at Wine Club tomorrow.
That is all I can think of for now, I will see what else is going on during that week. A professor at UNLV owns the company that puts on the SEMA convention (the #2 convention in Vegas each year), so there tends to be a lot of UNLV sponsored stuff that week too. If you are interested in something, mention it and I will ask around and see what I can find out. I can also point you in the direction of some good off strip restaurants, and I am sure ISH wouldn’t mind adding in any good spots he knows of.

Just trying to get the word out, we have our weekly Subaru meets at the In N Out on Sahara and I-15 on Thursday, November 4th 8pm.
Its pretty close to Palace Station for those who are staying there. Everyone is welcome to attend, it should be a nice turnout for Subies that night!
