Hehe, I was going to order one, but I didn't want to be "that guy" who's never been to a Reno meet wearing a Reno sweater.

 

There's two simple solutions to that...

1) get over it , I know none of the people that make it to the meets will care!

or 2) come to a meet!

We usually have a pretty good time, with 5 or 6 Subarus at each meet. Next time you're up here on a Thursday night, come on by the new Flowing Tide restaurant/bar on South Meadows Pkwy, 7pm. Or if you'll only be around on a weekend or something, let us know when, we'll have meets at the drop of a hat, since there's nothing better to do up here, 'cept ski/board, which reminds me, I still haven't gone yet this season...

You want I should hold you a particular sweater, boss? You can pick it up if you guys come up.

If you guys are thinking about a Reno meet, this weekend might be a good one: Low chance of snow/rain showers, both here in Reno, and over the pass. Plus this weekend SECCS is showing off at the NORPAC SCCA convention with a little car show Saturday and Sunday.

If you guys came up, you could hit up the car show and kick it with those of us stuck working security at the corral (i.e. playing with our XMods more than likely ) and hit up the Atlantis for gambling (plus they've got the best buffet of all the casinos IMO). There's also skiing at Mt. Rose about 30 minutes away, and the rest of Tahoe's mountains are all about an hour away pending traffic.

I'd even offer some of you guys a spot on my floor for the weekend, but I've already got company. However, I'm sure if you ask real nice over at www.seccs.org some of the other SECCS members could put you guys up for a night.

Just an idea! I'd be cool to get some more Subarus up for the weekend, but it is damn short notice for planning a weekend.

 

Damn, I will have to keep you guys in mind......My parents have a house in Reno, one of my sisters lives up there, and one of my best friends lives up there too....so I am in Reno quite a lot.....not so much lately with xmas and the new year and all, but next time I am in town, I will be sure to hit you guys up, I would love to check out one of the Reno meets....I always wondered if anyone up there had any suby meets. Cool. :banana:

Haha! You know, we've been known to pop in on a Sac meet here and there, and we've never been kicked out, so I'm sure the differences are subtle. By all means guys, try to make it up every once in a while, especially during autocross season.
