the search is over, i bought a STi tonight...
YEEEEEHAAAAAA (as my kid would say...)
finally, an STi will be mine. WRB, 04 ~7800 miles. almost no options (thankfully) and as clean as the day it left the showroom floor. the owner (fairoakssti on the sac region iclub) never drove it in the rain(!!!!!).
anyway, i am excited, and anxious to pick it up. i am also excited about some minor but worthwhile mods. vishnu, here i come ;P

Is this the one with the WRX trunk and no STi emblems? I think his name was Mark (could be wrong), but I haven't seen him in about a year. If that's the guy, we did the trunk swap at my house. He was pretty meticulous about that car so I'm sure it's in excellent shape.

that is the guy. mark is VERY maticulous. one of the reasons i bought the car actually. he had some realy nice things to say about you as well. he did mention the wing swap, and that you might have some pics. if you do i could use those for the history of the car. i am thinking of doing a web site dedicated to this car and its mod history...

I didn't take pics of the swap, but I think dz did. Send him a PM. It was his buddy's car that got the STi trunk and wing in trade.

yeah, i saw your #'s. that is prettu much all i am going to do for power. i dont really want to swap out the turbo at this point, and these sort of power gains look great for daily driving.

i really cant wait to pick the car up. i am trying to figure out when i can make my first uckk. i also am takeing it to jgtc. are there any other meets in the east bay on nights other than tuesday? i work tuesdays for the next 3 weeks i think..
